Dear Students,

Assalaamu 'alaikum!

Perhaps I should take the time to offer you an explanation.

I left my home in the Caribbean island of Trinidad more than six months ago to embark on an extended Islamic lecture-tour that will last, if Allah so wills, for more than another one year. And so I am constantly travelling.

I also constantly lecturing as I travel, and you can yourself see many of the lectures on my website as well as on youtube.

I am also constantly meeting people who travel from long distances to meet with me.

I am also constantly writing my books.

I am also a husband and a father, and I have domestic responsibilities.

I also earn my modest livelihood from the sales of my books and so I have to attend to matters pertaining to livelihood.

In addition to all of the above I have a huge amount of emails to answer and it has now become impossible for me to do all of the above.

I apologize for disappointing you with my response "Please seek advice from someone else. I simply do not have the time to respond at this time" , but I do pray that you will show understanding of my plight.
